Arty Nicharee

Arty Nicharee is a visual artist, maker, and creative facilitator originally from Bangkok and now based in London. She studied Visual Communication at Chulalongkorn University and the Royal College of Art. Her practice is a gentle inquiry into the narratives embedded in materials, focusing on themes of memory, femininity, queerness, and the diasporic experience.

Arty's work seeks to be a welcoming space for conversation and connection. Her relevant education includes a background as a visual designer, and her work has been presented in exhibitions and as a facilitator in various community and creative events.

This process-led approach extends to her work as a creative facilitator. She designs and leads participatory conversational workshops that use craft to counter the commodification of creativity, inviting others into a shared, welcoming process of making.
